How a score is produced

The scanner fetches a site the way GPTBot, PerplexityBot and Googlebot fetch it, reads what those crawlers can use, and scores 5 categories: can AI find you (crawler access, rendering, sitemaps), read you (structured data accuracy), follow you (architecture and internal links), quote you (answer ready copy) and trust you (entity consistency). The total is the share of available points, 0 to 100. Rankings, traffic and mention data play no part, which is why a well known site can score low and a small one high. The bands: Starting Point 0 to 39, Developing 40 to 59, Established 60 to 79, Leading 80 to 100. We publish our own score every month.
