Visibility Mesh finds what AI assistants and search engines miss about your business, gets it fixed and shows its work.
Your buyers ask AI assistants and search engines about what you sell. We started Visibility Mesh so that the answer gets your business right.
Our engine reads your website the way a crawler receives it. It scores what an AI system can find, read, follow, quote and trust on your pages. Then it puts the fixes in order. Our Shopify app, your developer or our team makes the fixes, and we scan again to see what changed. The outcome we work for is more traffic from AI and organic search.
You can run the free scan without installing anything, booking a call or entering a card. When you tell us what is not working, a person replies within one business day.
Our own figures, measured on September 30, 2026 and stated with the population they came from. See the full benchmark.
The gap we work on sits between what a business means and what its website tells a machine.
In most companies, marketing decides what the business should be known for. IT runs the website that is supposed to say it. An AI assistant never sees the brand guide. When it answers from the web, it works from what it can retrieve: the pages a crawler receives, the structured data behind them and what other websites say about you.
When those sources are thin or contradict each other, the answer tends to name someone else. Visibility Mesh finds where the business and its website part ways. What we find decides how much of the work goes into the technical layer, into content and demand, and into external authority.
You do not need to know whether your problem is SEO, AEO, schema, content or authority. We work that out from your website and your own data.
We scan any public website, anywhere, and we do the hands on work on Shopify and WordPress.
Visibility Mesh works with businesses anywhere in the world, and all content work is in English only.
Our engine does the reading, and people decide what changes.
The Visibility Mesh engine reads websites at a scale no person could manage. It scores five categories on every website. For Managed AI Visibility, it compares each rescan with the baseline at the same depth and on the same methodology version. Between reports, it flags what changed.
People take it from there. Margareta Petrovic reviews every Managed AI Visibility plan and report before it reaches a client. Everything we write for a client comes from that client's own pages and catalog. A person checks every page we write before it goes live.
Every change we make on a client's website follows ITIL change control. It is recorded, approved by the client before it goes live, backed up, reversible and checked again afterward.
Every number we publish comes with its population, its date and the method behind it.
Margareta was trained to audit security controls. An auditor does not accept a number without the evidence behind it, and Visibility Mesh holds its own figures to the same rule.
- Every figure names the population it came from. A median across all websites and a median across online stores are two different claims.
- Each published study keeps its own sample and its own date. Our first study keeps its 216 Shopify storefronts for good, although a bigger number would look better on a slide.
- Our own websites are left out of every benchmark figure.
- Where our data shows a difference between groups of websites, we call it an association. We claim a cause only when the study design shows one.
- In Managed AI Visibility, a rescan uses the same depth and the same methodology version as the baseline. Two scans of an unchanged website usually land within about 2 points of each other.
- A rescan shows what changed in the parts of a website that a crawler can read. It cannot show why an assistant chose one answer over another, and our reports do not claim it can.
- A client result goes on our website only with its limits beside it, including anything else that could have moved the numbers.
Why we publish the data and the method
We publish the per site scores, the AI Legibility Framework and our own monthly score so that anyone can check a Visibility Mesh number without asking us. Publishing also lets a journalist, a researcher or a competitor download the dataset, test it and cite it. Its CC BY 4.0 license requires each of them to credit Visibility Mesh.
Our proof comes in layers, and you can check each one yourself.

What does the Visibility Mesh score measure?
The Visibility Mesh score measures AI legibility. That is what AI systems can read and trust on the public pages of a website at the time of the scan. The score covers five categories and runs from 0 to 100. It does not measure rankings, traffic or how often an assistant names a site. A mention tracker measures that last one. The Visibility Mesh score looks for what on your website stands in the way.
Is Visibility Mesh only for Shopify stores?
Visibility Mesh works with any public website on any platform, and with businesses anywhere in the world. The Shopify app is for Shopify stores. We do the hands on work of Managed AI Visibility on Shopify and WordPress websites, WooCommerce stores included. All content work is in English only. On any other platform, we hand your developer the exact fixes in order and scan again to check the result.
Why does Visibility Mesh publish its data and methodology?
Visibility Mesh publishes its data and methodology so that anyone can check a score without taking our word for it. The per site scores from our live benchmark are an open dataset under CC BY 4.0. The AI Legibility Framework v1.0 specifies the five categories behind every score. Each study states its population and its date. We also publish the score of our own website every month.
Run the free scan, or tell us what is not working.
The free scan reads your website the way an AI crawler does and shows you in plain English what the crawler missed. You can also describe the problem in your own words. A person replies within one business day with what we found and the next step we suggest.
If your store runs on Shopify, you can install the app and fix what the scan finds.
