Author
Margareta Petrovic
Founder and CEO of Visibility Mesh. She writes every word of the Academy and runs the methodology that scores how legible an ecommerce store is to AI search.
What she does
Margareta builds the engine that reads a storefront the way ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI surfaces read it, scores it across the categories that decide whether a machine can quote you, and returns a plain English roadmap of what to fix first. The promise is mechanical, not magical. We measure what machines can read. We do not sell rankings.
What she writes about
Answer Engine Optimization, structured data and schema, entity recognition, internal linking that AI can follow, and agentic commerce for Shopify and DTC stores. The work bridges the gap between marketing and IT, the two teams that usually each assume the other owns AI visibility.
Background
Margareta is Chief Executive Officer of Amaretta LLC, which operates Visibility Mesh, and Chief AI Officer at DigitalXForce. Before Visibility Mesh she spent more than fifteen years leading cybersecurity work inside large organizations: as Health and Public Services Security Lead at Accenture, Global Head of Integrated Cybersecurity Solutions at Wipro, and Global Managing Partner for Risk and Cybersecurity at Tata Consultancy Services. She holds the CISSP and CISA certifications and an M.S. in Computer Science from Union University in Belgrade.
Why a security background fits this work
Margareta was trained to audit security controls, where a finding stays open until someone retests the fix. She runs Visibility Mesh the same way. It reads a website as a crawler receives it, reports what a machine can and cannot use and names the fix. After each change it scans the website again, and the new scan shows what a crawler can now read.
