I created an llms.txt file, but my AI visibility did not clearly improve, and I have no proof of which changes actually helped.
Arc: llms.txt is a Shopify app from ArcSpeed that creates, hosts and refreshes an llms.txt file, which its listing calls an AI sitemap. Visibility Mesh reads your website the way AI crawlers receive it, ranks what to fix and scans again after each change so you can see what moved. The web scan works on any website, and the Shopify app is for Shopify stores, where the Growth plan applies each fix after you approve it and lets you undo it.
Why merchants choose Visibility Mesh
Visibility Mesh suits merchants who want to know what AI crawlers cannot read on their site and what to fix first.
The core difference
Arc llms.txt hosts and refreshes a single curated file. Visibility Mesh reads the pages themselves as AI crawlers receive them, ranks what to fix, and scans again after each change.
Why Visibility Mesh wins for Shopify
- Technical site audit and AI crawler accessibility checks find the crawl and rendering issues a static file cannot address.
- Entity integrity testing checks whether the brand, its products and their attributes are stated consistently in the data AI systems read.
- On the Growth plan, the Shopify app applies fixes to the store itself after you approve them. You can undo each one.
- Human approval controls let a team review each change before it reaches the live storefront.
- Scanning again after a change shows whether AI crawlers can now read more of the page.
The problems Visibility Mesh solves
Problem: You create an llms.txt file, but AI visibility does not improve and there is no proof which changes, if any, helped.
How Visibility Mesh solves it: Visibility Mesh scans the site, names the specific issue and gives you the fix. It scans again afterward so you can see what changed.
Problem: Product data is inconsistent across the storefront, so AI assistants misread products, variants, or collections even with a hosted file in place.
How Visibility Mesh solves it: Its entity checks look at whether a product's details are stated consistently in the data AI systems read. After the fix, a rescan shows whether the mismatch is gone.
Problem: Your Shopify team needs AI visibility improvements across collections, product pages, FAQs, policies, and schema, with review before anything goes live.
How Visibility Mesh solves it: On the Growth plan, the Visibility Mesh Shopify app applies fixes across the store after someone approves each one. Scanning again shows the result.

Questions people ask
Is there an Arc llms.txt alternative for Shopify that fixes the store?
Visibility Mesh is one, and it covers more than the llms.txt file. It has a Shopify app, and its web scan works on any website. It finds crawl, schema and product data issues on the store. On the Growth plan, the Shopify app applies each fix after you approve it. After that, a rescan shows what a crawler can now read.
Does Arc llms.txt fix AI visibility or only host a file?
Arc llms.txt verifiably auto creates, hosts, and refreshes a static llms.txt file, and states it does not touch robots.txt. Monitoring, testing, and broader remediation are not verifiable from its listing. By design, Visibility Mesh finds what AI crawlers cannot read, ranks the fixes and scans again after each change.
Is an llms.txt file enough to get my products into AI answers?
A hosted llms.txt file helps assistants find selected content, but it does not repair the product data, schema, or crawl issues on the store. A Visibility Mesh scan checks those, gives you the fixes, and runs again afterward so you can compare.
Which app is better for Shopify ecommerce depth?
Visibility Mesh goes deeper into the store. It checks whether products are stated consistently in the data AI systems read, gives fixes across product pages and collections, and scans again after each change. Arc llms.txt is a single curated file, which is narrower for store operations.
Can Visibility Mesh prove that a fix improved AI visibility?
It cannot prove that on its own. A rescan after the fix shows what changed in the score and in what a crawler can read. Two scans of an unchanged store usually land within about 2 points of each other. A larger move most likely reflects a change on the page. The rescan cannot show that an AI answer changed because of the fix, since an assistant can answer the same question differently from one day to the next. When we checked the Arc listing on September 26, 2026, it did not describe a way to measure a fix.
